Start broad, then add one useful detail
A broad search can show you the kinds of lists and pages that exist. Once you know what you want, add the category or missing detail. If freshness matters, check the review date on the page instead of trusting a year in the title.
Build a query ladder instead of one overloaded search
Change one part of the search at a time. That makes it easy to see which word helped and which one removed good results.
| Step | Example | Question it answers |
|---|---|---|
| 1. Landscape | wegobuy spreadsheet | What kinds of guides, lists, and hubs exist? |
| 2. Category | wegobuy hoodie finds | Which results are relevant to the product type? |
| 3. Evidence | wegobuy hoodie measurements | Which result may resolve the fit question? |
| 4. Source | wegobuy hoodie weidian measurements | Does the expected source matter to this check? |
If the fourth step removes useful results, step back. A more specific query is only better when the added word represents a real requirement.
Search by source: Yupoo, Taobao, Weidian, or 1688
wegobuy yupooUseful when you expect an image album or catalog context. Ask where the product and order details live.
wegobuy taobaoUseful when the expected destination is a Taobao listing and you want the marketplace source kept visible.
wegobuy weidianUseful for Weidian-source rows. Compare the actual listing option with the spreadsheet label.
wegobuy 1688Useful for 1688-source research. Check quantity, option, and listing context rather than the source name alone.
The source name only tells you what kind of page you expect to find. Open the result and make sure the destination still matches.
Search by category
Use the category that changes what you need to inspect. Shoes may need shape and size-tag photos; jackets need garment measurements; bags need interior views; electronics need compatibility details.
A model name can narrow results, but it should not replace the physical question. Start with the category, add one identifying term only when necessary, and inspect the current external details yourself.
Match the query to a category checklistSearch for the detail you are missing
Add “QC photos” when you need to see the actual item. A photo finder can help locate images, but you still need to match the variation, date and visible details.
Add “measurements” or “size chart” for fit questions. Add “shipping weight” when the item price does not tell the whole story. Treat any calculator result as an estimate.
Use the QC and sizing checksWhat link converter and original-source searches mean
A link converter changes one URL format into another so the destination is easier to open. This site does not provide a converter.
If you find an original or raw product link, confirm that it points to the same item and variation. A working conversion only proves that the page opens.
Keep platform names simple
Use the spelling shown on the platform's own page or domain. Obvious typing errors and extra words usually make results worse.
If you are unsure what “spreadsheet,” “links,” “Yupoo” or “Taobao” means beside an agent name, use the shopping agent name guide.
Triage a result before you give it a tab
- Read the title for the page type.Is it a category page, a general guide, a source link, a tool, or a product result?
- Read the visible domain.Know whether you are opening this guide, Findsindex, a marketplace, an album, or another third party.
- Look for a date you can verify.A year in a title is a hint, not proof that the product rows were reviewed that year.
- Name the detail you expect.Open the result only if you know which measurement, photo, source, or compatibility detail you hope to find.
If the page does not answer that question quickly, close it or record exactly what is missing. This turns search into a sequence of small decisions instead of an expanding pile of tabs.
Bad search habits to avoid
- Stacking six qualifiers into one unreadable query.
- Assuming a year in the title proves every row is current.
- Using price words without a category or a detail to check.
- Opening every result before deciding what would make it useful.
- Treating a converted URL as proof of product or seller quality.
platform + category + one check: for example, “Wegobuy jackets measurements” or “Wegobuy shoes QC photos.”
